I grew up just down the road in Easley SC, first visited Tryon in 1983 and knew I HAD to live here.

After years of weekend visits and extended summers, the greater Tryon area became my home in 1991. In 1994, my husband, Harry, and I established The Hare & Hound, Restaurant and Pub that is still a Landrum location destination today.

I became a real estate agent in 2003. I’ve worked exclusively as a Buyer’s Agent, helping many new comers navigate the listings and consider all the factors and variables to find the RIGHT property. I spent several years in development lot sales at Lake Adger and have enjoyed helping my Polk County neighbors sell their homes and move onto new adventures.

I thoroughly enjoy the process, whether it’s staging a home for a seller, assessing orientation of a home on a lake lot for maximum view or working through a pro and cons list to help a buyer select the best horse property for them and their horses. So much of this job is in the details, the information gathering and listening for what a client wants and needs even when they don’t always know or articulate it. It’s very rewarding to help people navigate positively through transition.

I am an avid equestrian, competing in Dressage and Eventing for the past 25 years. I added Foxhunting and Trail Riding when I moved here. I enjoy the astonishing wealth of riding opportunities we have on multiple trails systems throughout the area.
When I’m not working or riding, I enjoy digging in the dirt. Harry and I take long dog walks in the woods and practice relaxed lake living every chance we get.

I came here because of the horses and I stayed because of the place and the people.
I’ve been fortunate enough to live in Hunting Country, Landrum, Columbus and currently at Lake Adger. I know these hills well as I’ve driven, walked or ridden over most of them. I live here. I work here. I play here. I’d love to show you around.
